TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, CONSTITUTE THE RENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND TRANSPORT AND TOURISM PROMOTER DOLLARS OR BELIZE DOLLARS. IF YOU ARE PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD, THE CHARGE WILL BE MADE WITH THE LOCAL CURRENCY WITH THE LIMITED (AVIS BELIZE), THEY REGULATE THE MODALITY OF ITS CAR RENTAL. EXCHANGE RATE PRESENTED BY OUR SYSTEM.


Anticipated Payment & Deposit: Every agreement requires the anticipated payment for the rental and a guarantee 

Acceptable Payment Methods: Major International Credit Cards (Visa or Mastercard), Avis Charge Cards and Avis deposit with an international credit card; the amount will be based on the type of vehicle and the time of the rental. Prepaid Vouchers. The total rental cost must be paid at the pickup time. Prepayments: Present any voucher Additional charges including traffic tickets will be charged to your credit card. accepted by Avis. Additionally, it is required to present any valid international credit card in order to cover any 

Return of the Car: You must return the car in the same conditions you received it. If the car is returned extensively charge not included in the prepaid voucher or the rental base rate.  dirty, a cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card. In case the protections acquired do not cover damages 

Restrictions: The car can only be driven by the drivers named on the contract. It is not permitted to cross the caused to the vehicle, these will be charged to your credit card. Rental Charges: You will pay for the period of time you rent the car as indicated on the contract. INSURANCE AND VEHICLE COVERAGE


*IN CASE OF THEFT OR TOTAL LOSS, THE CLIENT MUST PAY 30% OF THE VALUE OF THE VEHICLE.  

 

LOSS DAMAGE WAIVER (LDW)   $50.00 (Per Day)          

This insurance offers full coverage in case of accident or damage to the Avis Belize vehicle offering a zero deductible in the event of an accident, in any case the client must fill out the insurance form that will be offered by the insurer and present a police report of the event. All damages parts should be return to Avis Belize.

 

*Exceptions: This insurance does not cover wheels, accessories or internal upholstery, tires, tools, licence plates, or glass unless it is part of a road accident. Insurance does not cover transmission or engine damage due to driver mishandling.

 


COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW)   $15.00 (Per Day)          

Coverage that partially covers the vehicle in the event of theft, collision, or accident, with the client having to cover the deductible In such situations, the traffic regulations, and laws of the country where the vehicle is driven must be considered and the corresponding Traffic Report must be submitted by the customer.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI)     $5.00 (Per Day)

Personal accident coverage that provides protection in the event of death and emergency medical expenses for all vehicle occupants in the event of a collision or accident. The maximum amount of this coverage is USD 500.00 per person

ADITIONAL LIABILTY INSSURANCE (ALI)    $10.00 (Per day)                                                                                                                                       

Liability Insurance covers against damage to third parties and/or other vehicles as a result of a collision or accident. In both cases, they must consider the traffic regulations and laws of the country where the car is driven and submit the corresponding Traffic accident Report by the customer. The benefits of this insurance are: 

•               $10,200.00 (ten thousand two hundred dollars) for damages caused to other people. 

•               $10,200.00 (ten thousand two hundred dollars) for damages caused to other vehicles.

DAMAGE REDUCTION OPTION (DRO)   $15.00 (Per day)                                                                                                                       

This insurance offers a partial protection such as scratches or dents for external body parts of the vehicle with a maximum of USD 300.00. This insurance does not cover loss or broken parts.

 
WINDOWS & TIRES COVERAGE (WTC)    $ 10.00(PER DAY) 

Insurance that covers damage or theft of the glasses, rims, tires, spare tires and/or breakage to the glass or crystals of the vehicle, for which it is necessary to present the damaged part at the time of return and in the case of theft present the police report. It has no deductible.

By means of my previous initials and the signature on the footer i accept the terms, conditions and responsibility of the insurances shown on the top box as long as they respect the country laws, I also understand that by declining any insurance above I accept through my signature that I will be responsible for the damages caused to third parties and the AVIS rented vehicle, I authorize AVIS BELIZE (Transport and Tourism Promotor LTD) charge my credit card ___________________________________________ with the total damages caused.
